WEE is a non-governmental organization which aims at sustainable improvement in the quality of life of the poor and marginalized communities in the society.Founded by a group of professionals, WEE has been actively involved in development initiatives encompassing Livelihood Support Assistance, Health and Hygiene, Promotion of Producer Organizations/Cooperatives and Training and Capacity Building.Established since 1994, WEE is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (19710/142 of 1994-1995) and under 12AA and 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
